Unknown Class Date
 

Did anyone else get an email about training putting class date scheduling on hold in order to adjust training dates and class sizes ? I’ve have an offer with them for a bit but no class date as of yet..

Did your original offer already include a class date? Or are you just saying you’ve passed the interview process and are now awaiting a class date?

I have an offer with them, no class date…

I interviewed in October 2022, then got a email a week later saying I passed, then about 3-4 days after that I got a class date for March 2023. I have all mins and am ready to start now. They are probably just booked up and lots of instructors take vacation over Thanksgiving, Christmas, & New Year Holidays. Good Luck.

I interviewed in October as well and got the offer the day after; then several weeks later I got the email saying they are holding off on scheduling class dates for now. So who knows. I have a class date at C5 in Jan but people have told me to rethink going there…

What have those people say to make you rethink it?

Because the company is dying…..

Read these forums and there are 2-3 people here who will try to make you believe the same about SkyWest. The sky is always falling to them.

That said, I don’t know much about C5 but my two friends there are confident enough there to stay there to flow to United.

The reason that class dates are being put on hold is that they're forcing 400+ FOs to upgrade. Those classes are now in progress and it will take months for the unwilling folks to get through training and IOE. There's only so much simulator, classroom, and instructor capacity to go around...

That is happening at a number of regionals.
