We hosted a football watching party today (go Cowboys!), and when the Herb Kelleher memorial "commercial" came on, we took a shot of Wild Turkey. Our guests were not aviation people, but they all had great respect for him.
Godspeed.

Awesome tribute.
I can't believe that I just heard today the Mr. Kelleher has passed. My top two airlines to work for were SWA and FDX. Never got to fly for SWA but I greatly admired the airline and their founder. What a legend. He and Fred Smith were personally invested in their companies and I think that is primarily why each of them were and continue to be so successful.
Sad news, RIP Mr. Kelleher. Condolences to both his personal and airline families.
