Last year my dispatcher wife was denied the jumpseat because the captain was ignorant to the fact that they can ride in the jump,,, crap treatment by your PHL gate agents and today I was denied the jumpseat. I've always made sure everybody was welcome in my jumpseat and arrived where they needed to go. You guys seem to have a problem. ALPA won't fix these problems, only your pilot group can fix them. I will return the favor in the future.

One poor experience per year is a staggering trend, you should call your local authorities.

PM me the specifics and I’ll run it up the flagpole with our jumpseat committee. Sorry about you and your wife’s experience. We’re usually very hospitable to nonrevs and jumpseaters. More so than other airlines.

That's a super awful attitude and I can only hope that it isn't your normal. You want this type of thing to be fixed but you're personally wrecking it? I've only been here a couple years but haven't found this type of attitude at SWA so far. Normally, over the top friendly guys that are glad to be a help. I'm writing this off and assuming that you're a decent guy that is having a stressful day.... like the rest of us.

A SWA captain didn’t know a dispatcher could jumpseat? Ok.

Are you saying the gate agent give your wife JS ,then the captain denied her? Do not judge whole airline on one gate agent. By the way who do for for ?

Guys, am I completely misunderstanding this? Sometimes written communication can easily be misunderstood. It appears to me to be a retribution statement but that seems very irregular. Did I get it wrong?
