Jumpseat?

Are you guys allowing outside airline pilots in the cockpit jumpseat if seats in back capped? Hoping to catch a flight tomorrow that's capped out. No seats are for sale on website and it had a frown face when I listed.

Wear your uniform. I know for us if flight is cap filled , crew members in Uniform can still get on .

You have to wear a mask when on the jump seat. But if there are seats in the back nobody is sitting in the cockpit

Thanks for the info. I'll be in uniform as I'll be finishing a trip in ATL (guess who I work for).

if it's capped out then it is more likely going to be cancelled (not sold out.)

If it’s not showing any seats available or sold it’s cancelled. I believe he’s referring to the new practice of capping seats at about 2/3rd the total for “social distancing”

Did a run through ATL a couple of days ago. We were the only airplane operating on the whole field. Crazy times.

Had a similar experience a few weeks back. Even the DL side of our concourse was boarded off. Definitely an eerie vibe.
