Exclamation New high score? Is that bad?

I realize things are no where near they need to be to be a sustainable, profitable airline, but these are good signs when comparing to our competitors. Even though our fares are the lowest of the bunch, and not everyone is artificially capping capacity, I like our strategy to just get people in the air to feel confident and safe to fly. I hope it pays off in the long run.

Ok, now you can hammer me with the doom and gloom.

I guess that explains why SW seems to be the only airline on frequency.

Thanks for posting.

If you really want to get flamed post this on the SWAPA forum.

It’s an I’ll wind that blows no good. I think F9, NK, and especially WN, are going to wind up gaining domestic market share from the Big Three, certainly in relative and probably in absolute numbers as well.

Red box and Netflix probably thought about that when they took some market share from Blockbuster. But when Blockbuster went out of business everyone knew that the way people wanted movies changed. Same with Amazon vs brick and mortar. I think this pandemic will help LCC and others to gain market share in the short term. But what if something crazy happens like United going into bankruptcy or failing? Does EWR become the LCC hub to NYC? Something like that would transform the 121 world.

It makes me cringe whenever people talk about an airline going into bankruptcy...and then ‘opportunities’ for another airline in the same sentence.

Purely hypothetical. Nobody wants anyone to lose a job. I've already been furloughed twice and that's plenty.
