Domination, hub raiding and arrogance. Is that shark still hanging at HQ?

Last time I checked the pilots of any airline were just that, pilots.

Maybe you should post that on the CEO, planing, marketing, etc forums since the pilots have absolutely f#$k all to do with that.

It was never hanging in HQ. It's in the Oakland lounge. They took down the "fish" because people got butt hurt over it. The shark remains.
$10 (in a Starbucks gift card) and a buddy pass to anyone who steals it and hangs it in a competitors crew lounge.

Careful. He might slow down on final to annoy you!

p.s. I'll be the one slowing to final approach speed before the outer marker just to make you annoyed.

Perfect example of arrogance. I would think someone so new and only 98% on the seniority list would be more humble.

Nope. My seniority has nothing to do with me wanting my company to be successful. If I get sent packing for a few years, so be it. But I'd rather come back to a company that's crushing the weak instead of one that's playing down to the competition. I don't get the kumbaya **** that gets spouted all over the place here. Do you think Amazon execs are saying "Those guys at Walmart are just corporate types like us, just trying to make a living. Let's take it easy on them." Call me selfish, but at the end of the day, I care about my job more than I care about yours or anyone elses, and if anyone says anything other than that, they're lying.

So like stated above, sorry SWA didn't call you, and good luck with your approaches.

Sorry to bruise your ego, but not everyone wanted to work for Southwest, especially in the 1990's when I was new like you. I never applied but I'm sure I'd be a senior 737 Captain by now (30 years). The arrogance usually comes from the new and over exuberant. Those of us who have been around a long time know rough times can hit everyone. This pandemic proves no one is immune. Good luck with your juniority.
