SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED. I stopped flying way before ExTO was thought of because quite frankly I became a chicken little and was convinced the Zombie Apocalypse was coming. Then I "got it" and decided it wasn't sh!t, felt really embarrassed by my initial reaction, then the China Virus had it's 2nd chance with me and I was on life support for 5 days! All despite having no high risk factors. The type of farming I do is more hands on / organic, and working shoulder to shoulder with migrant workers was like diving into a swimming pool of COVID-19 virus solution every day, despite all the precautions we took. Most have significant others who work in other areas of ag processing at places where the risk is much higher. Factor in the way they all live together and ride together to work. Nothing short of a COVID nuclear bomb scenario.

Aside from all the above, we purchased more land, set up more rental land, the new grain handling system and new heated shop are going together as we speak, and we have a 2 year back log of organic grain, feed, seed, protein products and produce. Two new to us big green tractors, a new million dollar combine on the way, made 180% on commodities investments, and are in talks for being part of a reality TV show on the Carbon Network. My wife and I are expecting in May.

GOD HELP THE POOR FO's that have to fly with me when I get back! I don't talk politics, religion, or company, but wow has a lot happened this past year!

Well, hopefully your FO’s are not of the “inherited” variety

I'll love them just the same, only 10% of the Trannies suck, the rest are OK.

I think that came out wrong, but I'm leaving it so you all have someone to roast.

Bringing this back up to the top to hear the experiences of those who have been brought back or may currently be in training. I think the recalls were for June and July. I opted to bypass these recalls but I'm curious what others may be observing or hearing at the training center.

I think there are 495 or so still out on EXTO and I've seen there is a fair amount of open time available and I've heard rumors of JA assignments.

What's the real story in the trenches? Curious if we can expect another recall when the backlog in Dallas has thinned or if it will be a while for the next recall. Part of me wants to stay out and another will be happy to get back to stronger paychecks and getting out of the house.

I think they're going to bring back guys as quickly as possible, but the constraint seems to be instructors. They just posted an 8K this morning saying they were exercising and moving up 34 options for Max7s and moving up additional options to earlier years. So instead of the planned 30 Max7s there will now be 64 Max7s next year. I'm sure some will be fleet renewal, but I gotta imagine a healthy chunk will be growth.

It does not say for next year. This is a spread over and beyond 2029.

It says 34 additional for next year. There is an updated delivery chart as well as a chart with the old schedule. It's pretty clear. They have also compressed the options over earlier years and added 32 additional options.

As MVDV wrote, "In late March, we shared some good news about planned additions to our 737 MAX 7 and 8 long-term order book with Boeing. Now, I am excited to let you know that—based upon improving revenue trends—we are utilizing our order book flexibility to add 34 more 737 MAX 7 aircraft deliveries in 2022. As a result, we now expect to take delivery of 64 MAX 7s next year!"

Do you have the charts?

Ok examples like this I love being proven wrong. Just the question is how much are they replacing. Does anyone know that ?
