I guarantee every one of them would be back if not for the current backup in the training center. As it stands, they are unable to train all of the EXTO June recalls and are pushing some into July.

There is going to be a huge hole in FO manning for the summer schedule. They have mostly taken care of the Hawaii portion by expanding ETOPS, but the CONUS flying is going to be sporty for reroutes and premium flying. Look at the open time awards for FOs right now. Now add a thousand or so flights a day to that. They smartly brought back the captains first in order to minimize their costs.

Those remaining on EXTO will be recalled as soon as there is space available in the training center. Then hiring will start. I am obviously keeping an eye on India and the rest of the world to see how it may effect us, but as long as folks here keep getting vaccinated, I see nothing but positive things ahead for domestic flying.

strong winter tailwinds? MDW-OAK in the winter isn’t going to be much different than OGG-OAK, enroute time wise

I did BWI to SMF in the winter a couple years ago. We were absolutely topped off, the flight was almost 7 hours long.

Its the requirement to carry fuel to fly 1100 miles single engine at 10,000 feet that hurts on the Hawaiian flying.

For me it was two months to the day. Interviewed in December of 2016 and was in class the same day in February of 2017.

Me too. Would be a shame to ruin JetBlue's world class product.

Guarantee. Not line value. Kind of a rip off if you ask me, but it's all non-contractual.

Bahahahaha. Like they’d keep the JetBlue product. You were on the Bus. Does it have any integrated sunshades these yahoos at SWA can rip out and discard?
