Here’s a similar line of thought considering food—don’t forget about your flight attendants. Seems lately I’ve been flying with a lot of very junior FAs. They are afraid to say they haven’t eaten, and many times can’t get off the airplane. On the last trip I told the captain I’m getting food and also got it for two FAs. They looked stunned that a pilot would do that.

Im usually not the wheelchair pusher/cabin cleaner type, but we need to be conscious of the FAs when it comes to food. Not all bring a food bag.

A guy I just flew with turned me onto the airport version of the Grab app. Omg, life changing for getting food at the airport. You guys gotta get it.

Grab Airport. Just put that in your App Store search and look for the green app logo. There’s a G with an airplane circling it on the logo.

Seriously though. It’s been a life saver. As soon as you get into the gate, place your order. Do some of that pilot chit, then go pickup your order without having to stand in the obscene lines.

Sweet. Finally I'll be able to get the experience of ordering a $20 microwaved turkey sandwich without those pesky employee discounts. I'll just delay the flight.

I checked the airport employee box and put in SWA as the code and it gives a discount.

well that will teach me to be snarky before digging deeper into the app!
