Quick shout out - to balance against all the negativity that can be pushed on social media....
We had a REALLY early show in SAT. So early all coffee shops were closed at hotel and airport on arrival.
We had a couple minutes prior to push so I ran inside to see if the 1 coffee shop inside security was open yet. It was, and with a MASSIVE line.
I couldn’t cut off 15 people in line. A Southwest pilot was in line at the front, and I asked him if he could grab 2 coffees for me and I would pay him.
Thanks for your help keeping 2 fellow crew members and DL pilots awake. 👍

Not my problem. If I need to eat I'll wait in line. The flight won't leave without me. Well maybe it will, but that's okay.

Yet another reason to avoid those a.m. trips.
Another reason: when you need to drop un nombre deux, there's a bunch of dudes waiting in line for the stalls, and when you do finally get one, the seat's still warm.
All of which helps explain why a.m.-ers seem so tense.
