I’m fairly positive that it checks the box and is just fine. It’s a turbine airplane, right? An F-16 is also a single engine turbine airplane and we’ve got plenty of those backgrounds at SWA.

As long as you’re a “good $h!t” you’ll be fine 😉

Navy T-6 time counts and a PC-12 is heavier than that.

Yes, they count it. I have 1200 hours in a pc12 and only 350 ish in a jet. I’m new hire. I also know someone who flew a caravan and they counted their time.

I had ~100 hours of multi and they hired me. Had about ~1100 T-6 time to meet the hiring minimums. I don’t know where a Texan breaks out versus the PC-12, but don’t count yourself out!

I feel like this same conversation happens at Mesa, “Do you think they’ll hire me with a wet commercial and 12 hours in a Seminole? Would it help if I’m a YouTube influencer?”

The only turbine time they don’t count is helicopter time, unless that’s changed.

It doesn't count toward minimums, but they do find value in it.
