7/19 interview… now night time 7/28 and still haven’t heard either way. Is it normal/unusual to go beyond the 2nd Friday to hear anything? I think I remember the person checking us in distinctly saying “you will know one way or the other by next friday 7/28 when the review board meets” but can’t remember if they said “will” or “should”
Thank you! |
I think I heard about 14 hours after leaving my interview, approximately 0830 the next morning after the PM session. Delays mean you went to the board because there was something about your interview session that wasn’t agree upon by everyone from what I’ve heard. It’s not a No, more like a Maybe. Sorry to hear about the long sweat.

Thank you for your reply. I understand the review board route, but to clarify, I meant to ask if it’s normal for the RB to go past the 2nd Friday. I am not the only one who hasn’t heard back anything at all

No, it not normal. Most CJO’s go out the next day. If you bothered to listen at all during the briefing before your interview you would remember being told in no uncertain terms that if you do not hear back by the review board then you should email for an answer.
Do you know what he was told? Have some class. |

I don’t know about you but I’d rather work with people who can pay attention and follow directions. But that might just be me though. |

They told our group probably 20 times throughout the day. 20 times they told us the date to email if nothing heard after the decision board and not a minute earlier.

[email protected] was the address they told you to reach out to if you hadn’t heard anything. Out of curiosity, have you checked you missed call log? Anything unusual that doesn’t seem like spam? Maybe you missed the call? If the news is bad, at least you only have to wait 3 months.

I don’t know about you but I’d rather work with people who can pay attention and follow directions. But that might just be me though. Also, if you expect to be satisfied here by paying attention and following directions, you're gonna have a bad time. Any new procedure, policy, manual revision, or technique will have several conflicting sets of directions that ultimately brick whatever they're trying to have you do. You have to kind of read between the lines to try and interpret their intent. Unfortunately, sometimes that intent was decided between two random people in a parking lot 20+ years and is only told to you during a disciplinary hearing. If you're a fan of clear instructions and doing what you're told, you might want to go to Delta. |
That’s sound advice for anyone looking at SWA right now.

Thank you. I will email them on Monday afternoon if I don’t hear back. I have heard from several of my LOR’s that have received a call from WN HR. I have not missed any calls or found any emails sent to junk folder, and I am not the only one who hasn’t heard back. Several people are still waiting with radio silence.

Were you the 730 or 1030 group? Get an offer? Do they call or email?

I assume that's a good call. I was 730 as well, nothing yet. I hate this waiting game.

Hang in there. What will be, will be. |
Well, tomorrow is the chief pilot review board for interviews. What time does this review usually begin and what time will us interviewees hear of their decision? I was a 7/31 interview.
Thanks |

Review board/CJO 7/31 Official offer 8/10 Class dates offered in October Should I do it? |
Hi everyone, long time lurker, first time poster. I’m looking for recent info on the whole application to class date timeframe. When offered an interview, how quickly are they scheduling it? If you accept a CJO, how long is it taking to get in class? Thanks!
