7/19 interview… now night time 7/28 and still haven’t heard either way. Is it normal/unusual to go beyond the 2nd Friday to hear anything? I think I remember the person checking us in distinctly saying “you will know one way or the other by next friday 7/28 when the review board meets” but can’t remember if they said “will” or “should”
Thank you!

I think I heard about 14 hours after leaving my interview, approximately 0830 the next morning after the PM session. Delays mean you went to the board because there was something about your interview session that wasn’t agree upon by everyone from what I’ve heard. It’s not a No, more like a Maybe. Sorry to hear about the long sweat.

Thank you for your reply. I understand the review board route, but to clarify, I meant to ask if it’s normal for the RB to go past the 2nd Friday. I am not the only one who hasn’t heard back anything at all

No, it not normal. Most CJO’s go out the next day. If you bothered to listen at all during the briefing before your interview you would remember being told in no uncertain terms that if you do not hear back by the review board then you should email for an answer.

Were you in his interview group?
Do you know what he was told?

Have some class.

thank you. I did bother, but just wanted to confirm before I do anything so figured I’d ask here and see what feedback I get. Sorry if I disrupted your evening.

That’s what I thought. The one asking the question is probably the good fit.

They told our group probably 20 times throughout the day. 20 times they told us the date to email if nothing heard after the decision board and not a minute earlier.

I don’t know about you but I’d rather work with people who can pay attention and follow directions. But that might just be me though.
