1221 reasons to vote yes...

hoover 12-19-2023 01:45 PM

If the BOD has already seen it then why do they have to fly into DAL to vote? Why cant they vote via phone or zoom? I'm not being anxious just seems like a waste of time. Unless they are throwing a kick ass pizza party

I guarantee you that a face to face meeting is the best way to make sure everyone has a voice and a true concensus is reached. Even if the vote is split, hashing it out face to face is far better than any zoom meeting could ever be.

I personally think there's a great chance the BOD vote will be split if there is *any* truth to the leaked pay rates, but I also think it'll pass and get sent out for a vote. I could be wrong, the is a strong undercurrent of dissatisfaction in the pilot group and that just might be enough to send it back with a little sticky note that says everything but the pay scale is good, but the pay rates aren't good enough. No squeezing of the balloon allowed this time.

Plus hotel language. Plus van time shenanigans. Plus life insurance is too low..... Etc.

Correct! This is the last chance to spend special assessment dues money. Some of these poor people might even have to start flying trips again.

I is. The BOD has already seen the AIP, they were waiting for the implementation schedule. I'm thinking maybe these BOD people would enjoy some time at home around now. But kudos to them for doing what's needed.
