Outsider here.

Just curious how long you guys have been in negotiations? 3 years, 4?

Best of luck to you all. Hope you raise the bar!

1204 days since the contract became amendable. Yes, we've been counting.

As a former SWA pilot, just want to say how much I am rooting for you all to get the contract you truly deserve! Really hoping SWAPA was able to bat it out the park and reward a great group of people. It was a privelige to fly with you all and just wanted to pass my warm wishes for a contract truly deserved! Happy holidays!

Negative.

Initial meeting between SWAPA NC and SWA Labor Relations was Jan 9, 2020.

The next meetings were March 5 and 6, but the company was handed the complete contract proposal on Jan 9.

Thanks. Same to you. Hopefully you’re at a better place.

Fair enough, perhaps I misread as well. If I had to guess it would be a mixture of them all wanting to be in the same place, without anything being recorded and perhaps some bylaw that it must be done in person.

We had a 6 mo early opener prior to amendable date. Thats what I was going off of. I don’t consider a one day, “here’s our proposal for you to digest until March” negotiating.
