Captain Tim Leonard from SWA will start as Vice President, Flight Operations for FedEx as of December 1st. It's a surprise to me that we have an external guy filling this position over many other candidates from within our company.
Curious on the Southwest pilots' thoughts on what this guy will bring to our company, what his skills are, how is he regarded, etc? Is he known for fulfilling a certain role at SWA and we can expect he will do the same at FedEx? Didn't really last that long.
