I read it on here awhile back and searched but couldn't find it. Anyone have handy the list of nicknames for military folks that work at swa?

Thanks

My personal favorite is the CA whose call sign is/was/wants to be "Maverick."

The only "list" I've heard about is the one where they all are just affectionately known as "Kernal."

Thanks JD. Maybe it was on another forum. It had a whole bunch of names and if my memory serves, it included not just nicknames for military folks, but for others as well from strange habits to egos. The list isn't particular to swa but all airlines however I did see it on a swa thread.

Ha! Nice list. Didn't realized I fell under a label but I guess I'm guilty of being a "Twenty fiver." At my seniority level it's pretty imperative to have that day off or at least the first few hours of ELITT opening.

Yep, two hours on the 25th can make the difference between working every weekend and having at least half of them off.

Good thing SWApA "gained" all those wonderful DTC benefits! They are so awesome, that they didn't even bother with a memebership vote when they "negotiated" for them with the company.

What used to take 10-15 minutes on the 25th, prior to DTC, now takes hours (if you're lucky) days or even weeks of effort, if you can make it work at all.....

I know it...very frustrating I agree. DTC and restricted days are the Achilles heel in LITT, but going from 18 months of reserve to having some control over my life has been pretty nice.

Certainly...... Our "industry leading" reserve system is only surpassed by our "industry leading" retirement.....

Both "negotiated" by former SWApA management sycophants...

We've finally got some real representation in there.
