Yea and if you look in The Who's been hired board someone with 2700 total time and 1200 TPIC got hired?! Probably without going to one of these things.

Like everyone here, I was on all morning as well. As soon as it opened I was on and in the waiting room for both AM and PM slots. I thought it was over when I got the SOLD OUT message. I went back to the site and saw they had opened up the AM slots again. I went through several iterations of "SOLD OUT" but just got a ticket.
DON'T GIVE UP!!! Good Luck to ALL!

It's still showing the 9am isn't sold out. People have multiple windows open on multiple devices and it's only giving a limited time to acknowledge you are there and register so if people miss that short window to register in the ticket goes back in the queue. It's worth it to keep trying for a while.

Looks like the ticket website has crashed now! All I get is "Error saying something went wrong"

Was in the que... and it appears to have locked up. Such a frustrating experience

I got a spot. Pure, old fashioned dumb luck. 5 hours of clicking refresh and I must have stumbled across the new screen at the instant it went live, because I was never in a waiting room.
Even though I'm excited, it doesn't change my opinion about the process. It's terrible. I'm interested to see if Delta changes their process after doing something nearly identical on their last one and seeing Southwest's process twice. Hopefully they do. Congrats to everyone who was lucky enough to get a ticket. |

It's easier to get a golden ticket on the Polar Express. And as I sit here hitting "refresh" I can't help but wonder: does it really even matter if I get a slot at the job fair? Or is this just a complete waste of time? Because I'm pretty sure that if I were competitive I'd have gotten a call by now.
Another thing I have to wonder is whether the system is being gamed somehow. There are people out there who know how to write login bots for just these kinds of events. Last time around I heard that guys who'd paid big money to pilot interview prep services were somehow winding up with job fair slots. Not trying to float a conspiracy theory so much as trying to shoot one down. Anybody have any insights? |
I got in , keep trying
