Just received and e-mail for a pilot recruitment event for Southwest on September 24th in DAL? Can register for it tomorrow. 300 slots available. Anyone else get the e-mail, or know anything about it.

I got it today as well.

I got one dated August 10. It states that more details to be sent out later.

How does one register for the event? No LUV on the website.

Login to SWA.pilotcredentials.com.

Click on the job fairs tab (which doesn't appear to be there yet)
Make your selections and then watch for an email.

A friend at Southwest said they would open registration today (Tuesday) for three days but the email says registration is open Wed. and they will give out 300 slots over 4 days of registration.

I also got the email today. Are they planning on doing full interviews or is it more like a WAI type for a meet and greet? Thank you.

It will be a tour of their facilities and 10 minutes with a recruiter, so pretty much another job fair type of event.

Just received the 2nd email. Checked on Pilot Credentials for the registration, but the tab for it hasn't appeared yet.

me either, but was trying to figure out if that one guy was able to. he said he was going to the afternoon one

I wonder how targeted it is being that they limit the number of applicants so much.

I think the more important question is how many no shows to new hire class are they getting that they have to SEEK candidates. Sounds like they are running out of qualified candidates with 1000+ TPIC that will stay vs take a class with the big 3.

Go to your swaPilotCredentials, log in and check the home page. Do you meet all the mins?

There is a "click to view job fairs" option now, but when you select September, the date, you get road blocked by a calendar that doesn't seem to work... Anyone else seeing this?

Pretty sure pilots across the globe are crashing the page right now, hahaha. Keeps timing out! :D:eek:

It's like the digital version of bloodsport. Probably 2k guys/gals out there refreshing the calendar/website waiting for the option to pop up to select one of the 2 times slots. Surprised the whole pilotcredentials site hasn't crashed

Well I got the calendar up. Clicked the time I wanted and a window popped up asking for my email address and name and said they will email a link to complete the registration. I enter it all, click OK, and it disappears. No confirmation or any indication that it was successful… Anyone else?

Got the email just a few minutes later. Don't worry.

I got an email confirmation, but its mostly all in HTML code, nor can I log into the pilotcredentials website to see if anything is there either.
