My real concern is just that, if i'm applying and submitting the very informal information asked in the application (legal to work in the US? Meet our requirements? etc).... its easy to see if you meet everything or not. Since I do, why isn't my application at least being reviewed before the next requisition goes out? It doesn't make sense. So, like I said. This career fair is nothing more than a "come check out the building and have us look at your pilotcredentials profile." So, I remain skeptical at the true value of going to it. But, at least I can have these questions answered. |

From what I gather obviously when you apply to an requisition number, your status is Submission received. I "think" when they view it, it goes into application under review. Then it goes into one other status before closed complete.

I've never paid much attention to my status on the ICMS page until reading this. Right now it says "submission received". Is that their way of saying "thanks but no thanks"?

I am trying to figure out if the recruitment event is worth me going. I got a ticket to the afternoon slot. Little background info, My time is all corporate (Part 91 and 125) around 4400TT. I will have around 950 TPIC when I would show up to the event, obviously this is short of their requirements. I understand these are low times compared to what I have seen people be hired with lately.
One other reason I wanted to go was to talk to recruiters about coming straight from corporate to SWA. What do you think about going? |

I'd go. I doubt the 1000 PICT is very long for this world, and as the shortage deepens your TT will become more and more competitive.
