I'm sure we'll make it all economy and one loading zone.
Is there a way to lobby Boeing to make the cockpit bigger and new seats? Seriously a 4200nm range in that cockpit is fatiguing.

Hell, even the thought of 8+ hours in that cockpit is fatiguing. Mark my words.....in 50 years we'll have manned missions to Mars and Boeing will have a 737 that they'll be trying to market for that mission. Unreal....

Taller gear, bigger motors - same cramped cockpit. Short of a merger, this the only 'big airplane' on the horizon.

The Mad MAX.

Well, there's your B757 replacement. 4,200 NM is about the same range as the 757-200, with about the same seating capacity, and if the big engines are any indication, comparable performance. Greeeeaaaaat

It's also what I think of boeing making a bigger POS than the -900:cool:

Where do they plan on putting the lie flat seats or bunks for crew quarters for the augmented crews? I wish Boeing would just let the 73 die.

8 hrs or less does not require an augmented crew and the routes SWA would deploy this on would be less than 8 hours block.

Thankfully we'll have our snack packs for those 8hr legs.

Unfortunately, neither the airlines nor Boeing could give a flying ()$& about our comfort. Why would they? Pilot comfort has zero effect on their bottom line. Translation: We get the cockpit we're given and deal with it, at least at SWA where there's only one equipment choice.
