Haha. Yeah after my morning coffee and getting the ol brain running on all cylinders I have to admit. "Company" and "planning ahead" don't really belong in the same sentence.

It's been two days since this was announced and still nothing from our union. Are they asleep at the switch? Or maybe they're too busy granting relief?

He's does have a point. The cell phone addicts are becoming more commonplace. Telling people to stop really shouldn't have to happen.

ALPA needs to put the Spirit pilot's union dues to work and give us all a read on this type of contract circumvention. NOW.. before this gets out of hand a spreads like the plague.

I'm a known line-in-the-sand guy. So please, I'd like to hear your take on how this is a CBA circumnavigation.

I stand corrected. What I meant to say was that this flow through is a means for management to delay signing a contract. If mgmt felt the pinch of a pilot shortage they would be more apt to get wages up (better contract) to attract candidates. Now that problem is solved.

Flown with plenty of Captains who are addicted to there phones so still a stupid generalization of a group of pilots.
