Was it the DTW chief? I haven't met him yet or heard anything bad but could be the reason for the confusion.

No, it's my fault for not being super eager to fly an Airbus for 38$ an hour. Your welcome btw.
I have many friends over at Spirit who are happy, and you're my first choice for the two times a year I need to jump seat, but placing blame on others is not something I do.
I was hired by some one else who is a much better fit all across the board. Good luck on getting the contract you deserve.
