Application

On the First Officer application:

-No place to enter flight times.
-Wouldn't let me delete old resumes from profile
-Had wacky formatting on the resume when pasting from word
-Couldn't change the layout / how it looked in the text box for the resume.

I feel like I'm missing something. Are the only questions on the app literally just about your previous employment and education? Couldn't find the normal places to put flight times, training history, etc..??

Is the weird resume paste formatting going to prevent me from getting looked at based on how it appears? Not sure how I attached resumes in the proper format in the past but there are 3 attached I can't seem to delete and I can't attach a new one, only copy paste into the text box.

Any info greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There has been in the past. Flight time breakdown went on one of the last pages if I remember correctly.

I experienced the same thing. If I remember right I think they send a more detailed application if your selected to move forward in the process. Or that could be a different airline can’t remember.

Assessment

So basically as soon as I applied I got an email saying thanks for applying, please take the Gallup assessment test. Is that a standard email for everyone or only trigger if you meet some sort of minimum? Guess I know what I’ll be doing on my layover tomorrow! Thanks for the feedback so far!

That’s standard I believe

So I’ve done the Gallup assessment twice, most recently about two or three weeks ago. Went back to my application and had a page I hadn’t previously seen consisting of a flight hours breakdown. Crickets since.
4400 total time
2000 Multi engine turbine (King Air)
2300 total PIC
1100 King Air PIC
Retired Army
Bachelors degree
1 helicopter accident in 2009, 1 annual check ride failure when I first transitioned to fixed wing

Would I be considered competive or did I maybe mess up the assessment or something?

You may need to go to a job fair or a chief pilot meet and greet to explain those last two things. The computer may kick you out automatically. Good luck.

Anyone have any idea if Spirit will be at Women in Aviation in March?

Not sure about WAI but if you go onto Facebook and search for the spirit Airlines careers page you’ll find information about the meet and greets being held.
