Correct , end of business is a good guess |
Some of you are worse than those college football commentators who speculate about who's in the running for the Heisman before week 1 even starts. Just chill out and direct your energy elsewhere until you see the facts, because none of this matters until you see the actual TA.
Relax Go find a driving range Work on your car Hit the gym Get laid Anything, really. |
I don’t leave the hotel below 40. And I’m already so swole bra
|
It sure is taking a long time to cook up that spin. They should have just enlisted the help of the majority of the folks on here who seem to be experts at selling!

Never thought for a moment that they are continuing to work to make sure the rollout is accurate with everything? Easy for us to say "what it takes" to get it put out, when nobody has any idea of what exactly is being put out. Everyone needs to relax. Its going to be ok |

I don’t need an faq right away. Text has been available for days. I know how to read. We could’ve released it one minute after the MEC vote and moved our own voting schedule up by as many days. Yes or no that much sooner and get the process moving on. 3 years a couple days of delay at a time
So as much as everyone hates it, this is the situation. Reps phone works fine if you want to call and ask where its at...forums are much more fun, I know. I think this is the website as it stands now, maybe what they are working on? Info looks legit and good. http://bitly.com/1H9DQSz |

And they have decided to roll it out in an organized way, some say to "control spin," but they dont want a TA just dropped out without details or explanation. This is the way they want it presented.

Aren’t the words in it the details. Do you find it insulting that someone thinks you don’t know how to read?

Can non Spirit guys get a run down of what was presented? I’m looking at throwing my app in. Is it the same as the company proposed pay chart I saw floating around?

Awful TA. Stay at your regional with possibly better work rules.

I can't believe we have to wait until the 28th to stuff this POS back in it's hole.

Some issues to consider besides the many valid points floating around this site and others. Keep finding and posting the shortfalls and hidden “gems” like the one at the bottom I saw online?
1) 70% short of full retro (in the example I used) 2) vacation – explain the way vacation drops work with 2 days on each side? 3) Lower pay compared to ALL airlines in same category that have received new contracts (Jet Blue and Frontier excluded because they are in negotiations). 4) PBS blows and you have no idea what you will get even if you are a senior guy. 5) 5 hours per day Trip average – Not 5 hours per day 6) Long stay changing from 14 hours to 18 hours – puts us in worse hotels 7) Five year contract vs a four year contract. No extension, raises or a guarantee of raises or retro pay. 8) Hotel buyback is at company discretion. Does this mean they can take it away at their discretion? 9) Company can reassign at any time? 10) Not a window or aisle seat guaranteed on deadheads. 11) No Profit sharing 12) Pay for smaller planes? Will we fly them? 13) Stopped reading TA because of the headache is was causing. Etc. ETC. eTc. EtC. etc……….. Good catch from someone on another thread --- and keep catching these types of items - - - - - - page 1. Specifically 1-B-3 And if it's allowed, here's a repost of what I wrote in the "Section 1" thread: 1-D-g and 1-E-6 Protections lost in case of "Circumstance beyond the Company's control" Now read in Section 2, "Definitions" 2-BE: "Circumstance Beyond The Company's Control" Includes Labor Dispute, Strike or PICKETING OF ANY OF THE COMPANY'S PREMISES All scope is lost if we so much as stage a harmless picket! IMO, this is a hidden gotcha. We may read the phrase "Circumstances...." in the Scope language, but are we reading the definitions just as carefully as the Scope, Scheduling, Vacations, etc? |
