Are you checking your schedule the night before? 9 out of 10 times it'll be on your schedule.

If you’re flying pairings from the bid packet (not hand built) and don’t see the trip on your schedule the night before then your base and seat have a lot of last minute sick calls for early shows if you’re getting surprise calls at 3am

It’s not by choice, but if I have to work reserve and I can only hold holidays off on R3 it is what it is

You are all forgetting one major detail. When PBS comes out and Reserves are NO LONGER ALLOWED TO DROP EVEN ONE SINGLE DAY, your time to a line will increase dramatically. I highly doubt "reserve will go senior" anymore.

That is truth. The inability to even use voluntary float vacation will have Senior rsv bidding back to lines a lot of months. It’s a load of poo.
