Application Problems
This morning, I went to the careers website to update my application. When I tried to sign in, I got an error message saying login failed. I used the forgot password link and entered my email. The email I received stated that there is no account associated with my email. Has anyone received this? I know for sure that the email I entered is the one I built my profile with.
In addition, I tried to search pilot openings on the website and only the MCO base chief pilot position was found. |
Maybe they’re starting the transition to their new website coming soon.
|
Hope so. The previous application site was really frustrating without the ability to even update your resume or contact info
|
Not working for me and a few other as well.

Just got an email saying there’s a new career website.

I believe you have to login to see all job posts.

The new interface seems nicer but there's no way for previous applicants to log in and update their apps. Previously I'd update my times at least twice a month and reapply every time the pilot job appeared with a new req number. And currently the only job listed is MCO CP.

So under "Update Your Profile" you can re-add your flight times. But question: other pilot application sites want you to list dual received as SIC even though it's not really, just for the purposes of categorization. Anyone know if Spirit is the same way?
If you don't, in theory they won't know your total time unless they look at your resume, and the computer will calculate it lower. |

It’s not a ton, but when attention to detail is the first job requirement, you try to be accurate.

New Application Site
Do they really want us to break down the amount of night instrument we have?

In all seriousness, I would take the ratio to day to night total time and use that same ratio to instrument time for day and night. That’s my opinion, nobody tracks that stuff unless you have kept a highly accurate electronic logbook since day 1. Ridiculous. |

ICIMS errors on Spirit app web portal
Anyone else encountering an "empty" list in each pop-up menu for Country and State Code in the Previous Employment section of the application?
You cannot proceed because the site generates an error for missing Country and missing State Code for your previous employer. Example: If your previous company is/was ABC Aero Lines, Anytown, YK 12345 Tahitistan You can fill out everything but YK can't be selected from the list of 50 states (because nothing is in the list) and Tahitistan cannot be selected either (for the same reason, there is a blank list of countries). I'd send a nastygram to the Spirit IT department but I don't think my mileage will be great. ;) Any thoughts? |

May try and restart the application to see if that works. |

I'm assuming you mean the latter. I did try 5 browsers on 6 computers from behind 7 proxies, all the same error. ;) But maybe I'll just delete and start over. |

They even sent an apology letter via email owning up to the technical difficulties with their application system, advised the issue had been resolved, and asked to please finish the application in order to be considered for the position. |

It appears our SumTotal brain trust was tasked with revamping the HR side too. Get used to it. Nothing works on the inside either and prepare to juggle 4 different user names and 15 different passwords to get anything done.
I use a paid password management program that works great across multiple platforms on every website I use... EXCEPT EVERY SPIRIT SITE other than than Flica. It just gets confused and tries to populate the wrong username/pw that we have to constantly change at different intervals but also cant be the same. Its beyond annoying. At least we finally paid the $2 to have the security certificates verified  |

Drop down menus
Hello everyone! I see others have had an issue with the state and country drop down menus in past work experience. Has anyone actually gotten this to work? I have turned off my security, checked the browser (was compliant), used Edge, IE, Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. None of them worked. Someone mentioned an email from the other side stating they "fixed" his or her issue allowing the application to be completed. I haven't seen any tech support links. Oh, I am not in privacy mode either. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It was working again today. Those drop downs for state and country are now white an not yellow... making them not required fields. The application will be accepted.

Gallup poll link not working
So I finally got the app to submit (the drop down menus were corrected so we didnt need them). I got an email saying to take the Gallup poll..when I click it, says invalid link. I contacted Gallup, they told me to contact Spirit. I emailed Talent Acquisition and no reply :(

Is spirit actually hiring now. After my app on the last site it was partially filled and then due got a tbnt but was it for the partially filled app? Frustrating.
Went to a meet and greet as well but I mean is that information stored somewhere that I did or is it just resumes resume floating around the office somewhere... |
Hiring has slowed while they implement PBS. Hiring should pick up in the next few months. Last email said 300 new hires in 2019, we’ve hired less than 60 so far.
