Anyone got the interview invite ?

Taco280AI 04-10-2019 09:10 PM

No invite, but no TBNT email yet either. Has been "under review" for a few weeks now.

Mine has been under review since the updated site came up

Fugitive 04-11-2019 07:36 AM

I was contacted for a phone interview about 3 weeks after receiving the “under review” notification.

Congrats... hope my deal goes the same at some point

iropman 04-13-2019 09:53 AM

I just checked online and it has been switched to “reviewed: not selected.” But I have not received a TBNT email. I’d assume that this is essentially the same as a TBNT email. Does anyone know?

flysooner9 04-16-2019 08:01 PM

Anyone know what to expect for the phone interview? Is it pretty casual and short?

The conversation will seem casual, but they’re slipping in many of the standard interview questions while chatting you up. I think mine took 30-40 mins. But the last 10 or so consisted of BSing about kids and acquaintances.

30 to 40 minutes? I was expecting more like 5 to 10 😅
I got an email a few hours ago to line up a phone interview and I'm also looking for any info on what it could be like.
Anything specific they asked and you wish you had had more time to think about? What kind of HR questions?

Any feedback is appreciated in advance

Don't worry about how long it takes. They might ask questions about your flying experiences. I was asked what i like to do outside of flying. It's a very casual conversation and nothing technical. I think mine was about 15-20 mins. Most of the TMAAT and HR questions comes during the face to face interview. Just be ready to be asked "Why Spirit?"

Im still "under review" after a month or so. Hopefully that changes soon to "hired" :D

Ziggy 04-23-2019 09:45 AM

Is the Gallup personality testing only, or is there a cognitive section as well.

Thanks,

Those who received “under review”, has anything followed that? I was recently updated to “under review” after weeks of “pending completion of Gallup”. Not sure if this is “under review” like my United app is “under review” or if this means something more

Taco280AI 09-04-2019 03:11 AM

Mine has said under review for about six months now

Me too. Same at SW. What is your background? I'm starting to think that HR folks say, "Wow, great time, great experience, but.... he's not military, and he's never flown 121. Let's just put him in the hold for later pile."

Not to say it’s impossible, but I haven’t seen too many people working here who don’t have at least some previous 121 experience.

AlwaysSunny 09-09-2019 04:30 PM

Been under review most of this year as well

I think they call them unicorns around here. Flew with one CA in FLL who was born and raised there, and spent his whole aviation career in soflo...amazing!

We have many many many with no 121 experience and even more without degrees. Why do you think we signed a contract 30% lower than others.

Kidding, but not really
