Under Review
 

On Spirit's ICIMS site, I have the application status of "Under Review." Is this a good sign or does everyone have this status at some point? Just wondering if I'm actually being considered for an interview.

Also, does anyone know the training/class schedule for the rest of 2019 or at least the next several months?

2 small classes per month

Mine says "received submission" so it seems like there is some sort of progress.

I applied in January and it also says under review. Hopefully it means good news but it’s definitely better than TBNT. Fingers crossed.

Circa early this month, it was posted that we were hiring an additional 270 FO’s to cover an increase in flying and attrition. How that number breaks down monthly or if that number is 100% accurate is beyond my knowledge; just passing on what I know. Best of luck to the qualified applicants out there!

I found an option in there for email updates on the application dashboard. I quit looking a couple days ago in hopes that an email would arrive

Just got an email about the Gallup assessment being the next step, hope that's a good sign. Might be standard for everyone?

Got the same e-mail today

The Gallup assessment came pretty quickly after I applied. It's been a few months since then. Good luck. I'll add that in the past when I've applied I believe I failed the assessment because it was a very quick, probably automated, TBNT email. This round, it says under review.

Did my Gallup right after I submitted also. Been waiting for a change from "Under Review" for about a month now.

It's not instantaneous.

I bet you got an email asking for you to gallop.

The status was something like "pending completion of Gallup test"

After you saw a man about a horse, it will change to

Under Review.

Take a breath, give it 24 to 48 hours.

They just want to get to know you, what do you like to do outside of flying, things like that. Nothing technical.

Hum... Not exactly why they're calling for a pre-interview interview. This is your first chance to get the interview and tell them why you want the job. I wouldn't go down a path of what you do on your free time. They are busy folks and want to fill classes with the right people. So grab the opportunity when they call!! When the ball is tossed at you knock it out of the park. Silver02ex you work at Spirit? They aren't calling to ask about free time and what you like to do? They will have so very pointed questions and you better get those right to move to the interview!!

It’s very conversational and low stress, but expect why Spirit, why are you leaving your current employment, and to tell me about yourself questions built into the conversation.

Have a vision for where you can see this thing going as well as basic knowledge of the company and ULCC model.

I had a 10-15 min phone call with SF, all my question was to get to know me, what I did on my free time. I told her about a vacation I just got back from. The “Why Spirit?” or “why do want to leave my company?” was during the face to face interview. Say what you want but, my conversation landed me a face to face interview and a class date offer later.

I did my Gallup last night and got the "TBNT" just now. Kind of surprised actually. That said, what is the waiting period before you can reapply or is it a "We don't want to see your resume again" type of a thing??

Not sure if it’s changed or not, but had a buddy who took it and didn’t pass, I called HR and asked them how long he had to wait to try it again and they said 6 months.

my experience with her was exactly like yours. It was relaxed and low key. She asked about my free time, about where I was from, and some other things.

I mean, you could take the super obvious elevator pitch approach or just talk with her like a human.

How long after you finished the Gallup did it take to get an email for the phone interview?

Two days after the Gallup

Did my Gallup. About 3 days ago so just waiting to see what happens. No TBNT e-mail yet but now icims also says invalid log in e-mail not associated with any accounts on record.

I did the Gallup on the 2nd of April. When I log in to check the status it still says awaiting completion of the Gallup assessment. Not sure why it’s taking so long to recognize that I’ve done the Gallup assessment.

Mine did the same thing. Now trying to log in says my account doesnt exist so no idea man. No TBNT in the e-mail yet so got that going for me I guess

no news is good news, they arent going to call you unless they have interview date for you

I believe that but just curious why when I try to log in to the icims account my account doesnt exist. I didnt retract my application. I'll wait a while then reapply. It's very strange I got an invite for Gallup did it then my account doesnt exist. I only realized when I click reset password the e-mail said my e-mail isnt associated with any profile despite it being the e-mail the Gallup was sent to.

I just rechecked mine, it now says under review and I have not yet received a TBNT email as of this time.
