We did have input. We have a chair of the uniform committee who had to veto some seriously poor fashion proposals from the woman representing the company on branding that would have had us wearing yellow accents on our uniforms like the flight attendants from the same sub standard vendor.
If I remember correctly from a conversation I had with someone briefed on the uniform discussions with management is that the compromise to get the light shell jacket is that we’ll be wearing wings on our shirts (requested by Ted) and possibly yellow stripes on our epaulets to go along with black pants from a high quality vendor.

We have the Karbon jacket, leather and blazer at WN. I have all three and prefer the leather for colder weather and the blazer when it’s mild. I don’t like the Karbon at all. It fits me kind of weird, and I don’t feel as professional wearing it. Most here wear the leather.

I absolutely agree. Once the company reimburses for this vs the blazer, I will definitely be getting it. But not out of my own pocket.
