With all involved in the racket that is Disney you have significant money invested. Why not just buy tickets on another airline and travel stress free.

Maybe he bought tickets on Spirit? Doesnt change the facts that the flight canceled anyways for maintenance.

From a statistical standpoint, buying a ticket on Spirit gives you a higher chance of getting to your destination than the majority of other airlines. Should he book on AA from DFW-MCO and risk their 2nd from the bottom ranking? Or should he book on Delta, the top airline, and do a connection in ATL?

You can doubt his decision, but buying a ticket on Spirit and traveling direct to your destination is one if the best deals around with the free bags and availability to buy a BFS.

Agreed. I won't buy tix on us unless its someplace I feel is optional to get to (at which I would just nonrev), when we cx a flight we have no way to reroute a plane full of people as well as the larger carriers do.

Came darn close to losing Almost 2 grand on a Universal Orlando trip for me and my son over the weekend. With bought and paid for tickets too. It was listing as non-revs that got him a seat and me a jumpseat. Friday was F-ed (understandable) but CXing a 6 PM flight the next day?

Agreed. AA is a disaster in DFW. Two of my family members stopped flying on them (my uncle being executive platinum lifetime status) because they could never get to where they were going. Not that Spirit is a glimmering beacon of excellence by any means but we do okay out of the big D.
