If anyone wants to come over and practice new flows, my mom can make us sloppy joes

I mean... I do like Sloppy Joes. Throw in some Voodoo Chips and let me know what time to be over.

Also, is your mom hot?

Hot moms & sloppy joes..... 🤔🤔🤔🤔

You are living the dream. Let's have some of that meat loaf instead. After we master our new flows can we ride bikes to a cemetery near by? I hear grief is natures most powerful aphrodisiac.

I'm trying to figure out where to find the new flows? I'm in an August class and would hate to learn the wrong ones. Seem like the Flow guide and AOM2 19-01 have the old ones?

I would learn the flows they tell you to learn. What IF they push the new flows and you show up not knowing the current flows, but the ones pushed? They are very similar and really only have changes in the aircraft prep.

My advice is learn what they tell you to learn for class

Flightcap 07-23-2019 09:49 AM

Agreed. The new flows aren't THAT different. Mostly they split some of the preflight duties between PF and PM where before they were CA and FO.

Thanks, that makes sense.

New flows are being taught in training all ready. If your in an August class they’ll send you the new flow guide and vol 2 revisions soon if they haven’t all ready. As some people have said. The only changes are prior to the before start flows.

Good for you, always take first available. I was offered an earlier class at my last company, was the last class to upgrade, for 3 years I flew with guys hired a few weeks after me that never upgraded (and then I got displaced and furloughed, and If I had gotten furloughed earlier maybe I would have been more senior here, but that is a whole different story....)

Ma!!! Meatloaf!!!

I never know what she’s doing back there.

I hope I get to fly with you. Maybe I already have....

You guys are going to the Airbus FCOM and PF/PM flows?

Sounds like they're aligning things with Allegiant for the merger.

Every single Allegiant pilot would flip their lid. I hope for their sakes it doesn't happen.

Doubtful lol! Remember a year ago or so back when ole Grock was telling everyone to “stay put” and “something big is around the corner”? Everyone though it was United, but I was told by a management pilot, it was Allegiant trying to buy Spirit. Obviously it never happened.

Also, years ago, they did use FCOM Airbus flows here. You know how it is, I’m sure some new Dir of Ops didn’t have enough to do, paid too much money, and was told to go work on a “project”. Sounds like that old Dir was from NW cuz what we’re doing now is nearly the same thing I did when I learned the Bus at Allegiant.

For fun let’s say it happens. I don’t see how it’s going to be a good deal for you guys. I doubt they keep doing the “Allegiant model” of day trips and flying a couple times a week to places. Spirit is much bigger and 3x the number of pilots. I guess they could merge and everyone keeps doing their own thing, but why?

It would be messy. I'd just go ahead and retire early if it moved my cheese. Ha. Probably lots like me.
