Default 3000 airplane

Anyone been hired with Spirit with less than 3000 airplane? I’ll have 3000 but about 900 is helicopter. I get there’s other qualifications too but just looking at the 3000 airplane requirement. Thanks everyone.

Saw on aviation interviews a guy with 2600TT get hirers. Not sure this helps you, but it happens. When I interviewed we had a 1700HR flight instructor. He didn’t get the job, but he got the interview.

Everyone in my class in the early summer had 4-5000 hrs. But, as this hiring wave continues they will probably start looking at lower time candidates.

With that said, flight time isn’t everything. Definitely try to do the extras to set yourself apart (get involved at your current airline, volunteer work, extra education, etc).

Pre contract.

Scraping the bottom of the stack at that point for applications.

Fair point, but it was December and everyone knew it was coming.
