GDOs are part of every reserve line; there's no time limit that has to be hit. Maybe you're confusing these for vacation? Do you participate in our pilot mentor program (chat group)? Those guys/gals are on top of any type of request like this. Asking a bunch of yahoos on an anonymous forum might get you a God-knows-what answer (que Halon).

Well I hope you're just being cute with the terminology and don't actually believe there's no such language in the CBA. True, "GDO" does not appear in the CBA; it's a term that got its designation from who-knows-where in CrewTrac. The interchangeable term used (and accepted by the company and ALPA) is "immovable day off", which is defined in 25.B.3.4. And there absolutely is such a thing.
