pushing back deliveries?

we are cancelling wifi altogether?
no more interior refresh on current planes?
cancelling construction of new HQ in FLL?

They said all that stuff is on pause. Not flat out canceled.

That had to be one of the most relaxed crisis town hall meetings I’ve seen in my 36 years of getting paid to fly airplanes!
My take away is Spirit will be ready to gain new assets, meet the flying demand when it hopefully returns mid summer and the next steps will be contingent on getting the grant money.

I too, was surprised at the lightheartedness of the town hall. Teddy joking about his beard and playing songs at the end. They all must know something other than what we hear from the media...???

its all still a go, just not right now. They’re conserving cash until this is over.

We don't have a history of handling crisis well here at Spirit. We're like the goofy uncle that laughs and jokes at a funeral.

How can I help it if I think you're funny when you're mad?
