Furlough plans?

Hopefully we won’t, but if some of us were to be furloughed on October 1st what would you do? I am considering the follow:

1. Going back to flight instructing.

2. Selling my house and car and buying a boat. I will live in it and fish all day, drink beer all night.

3. Move to Alaska live in a wood cabin, and become a Moose hunting guide.

4. Work at a call center selling time shares.

Thoughts?

I’ll just take on more hit jobs. I’m thinking people will be putting out more hits if it goes to crap. Granted I’ll have to charge less and work more, but at least it’s something.

Back to gigolo work, and maybe moonlight at Cirque du Soleil.

Drive a hotel van and always be late picking up crews. Talk/text on my phone, drive with one hand and my seatbelt off. Park on the wrong level and not care my van smells like ass. But most importantly, always late.

Haha!! Numbers 1 & 3 are DOA. Cities and States are signing their own death warrants by guaranteeing they receive no tax revenue and the odds of someone running out and buying a car are, well, sporting . I imagine the owner of your local Ford house will be at the personnel office of the same dozer company you're planning to hitch onto by the end of next week.

I plan on working for the soon to be only game in town. Federal Agent in Charge of breaking up family holiday dinners.
