Mode used to increase the vertical speed by selecting green dot in climb or 0.80/340 kt in descent. Used to expedite a climb or descent towards a specific level. id say it’s fair game and anyone that says otherwise can shove it. Would I press it? Probably not, I fly like a grandma |

Won’t touch expedite button but I use max reverse down to 60 knots every time! Empty 319 with brake fans on a 12,000 foot runway I’m rattling those bins!

The plan was to hit APP and AP2, but hit EXPD instead. Houses got bigger fast.... When in doubt push V/S 0, and select speed |
