There aren’t any. These are people who saw a seniority list spread sheet someone did and saw that with a date of hire integration, some people on the seniority list would lose a few points of relative seniority. And then we have Frontier pilots who look at another spreadsheet and see a relative seniority integration has them junior to Spirit people who have less longevity as they do. Meanwhile this back room seniority list integration game has zero to do with reality and what an arbitrator will eventually decide.

So probably people need to take a breath, grow up, and realize this isn’t the end of the world. Personally I would be more concerned with a displacement bid coming in days vs seniority list integration methods that people are pulling out their back sides.

The SLI will be arbitrated as they all are. Anyone claiming Spirit pilots will be the big loser is speculating out of their outflow valves.

Ask around. Not posting on here. For your health.

Ask around for peoples opinion based on their own speculation. Yup, reliable info. Ask them too what the new company name will be, the new CEO and the next base, all wild guessed.

For your health, don’t get wrapped up in speculation from those who speculate just to be negative.

So of course, assume it will be a spirit pilot screwing merger at the hands of the Frontier pilot overlords. That seems logical.

Barry: there's no black
cloud out there regardless of what you're
hearing. We have 10 applicants for every
one opening we have. We have seen a
slight uptick in attrition but we are a
growth business and that just means we
have to get creative with sim availability
and training throughput. Our analysis
shows that even if I have to open a flight
academy and train every pilot I need from
zero hours it will cost me $30M per year.
That's less than 1% of revenue and will
not hurt my business. Pilots only care
about money and lifestyle. We have the
money part covered. They will make the
same money here as they would at Delta
because we upgrade so much quicker.
Our combined airline will have more
bases and lifestyle will be great for them.
I'm not worried about pilots.
Ted: like Barry, we have seen a small
uptick in attrition but we also have more
than enough applicants and are still filling
classes but we are also increasing our
training capabilities.

Old news, they are selling the merger to the board/investors/government.

What do you think they will say? Haha. Seriously.
