Default Resignation

What happens after you put in your 2 weeks notice?
Does management drop all your trips until your effective resignation date? It was like tht in previpus airlines, so just trying to figure out if i should load or hnload my schedule. Thanks!

They expect you to work until you don’t work there anymore. They certainly don’t pay protect drop all your trips during the last 2 weeks.

This is close to, if not the dumbest question ever asked. I hope your new carrier enjoys training you.

I’m more interested to know what carriers give you a 2 week paid vacation after turning in your notice.

I think he’s implying that some airlines essentially terminate you when you put in your notice.

I am very sorry that you had to fly your sorry ace until 6am just before your indoc in your next company started, but as a matter of fact and personal experience it DOES happen AND it has happened to me -TWICE in a row btw. Oh and also in my last job I gave 3 weeks notice and got it all dropped pay protected.
Good luck in your next CQ in your current carrier.
