Spirit won't exist in 24 months so take that into consideration as well. Good chance we get merged into jetBlue but there's still a worse case scenario chance that it's Frontier.

The worst case scenario is that both of them back out. Spirit management has screwed the pooch so badly, they might not survive without a merger.

Sky aint falling. Your AA files BK reorganization before NK goes under.

The only people that scenario wakes up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat are in the c-suites in Miramar. We are a publicly traded company, if NK finds themselves without a dance partner after the dust settles and the board deems management was asleep at the wheel the last couple years which hurt profits, the they clean house a bring in a new gunslinger. Yellow busses continue to fly and the pilots take another bite at that apple. You may have only been here a minute, but many of us have seen plenty of regime change. Still here.

Yes, but most of those regimes made money. They’re generating the most revenue they ever have, but still not making profits. They have been asleep at the wheel.
