Theyre going to figure that last part out when it’s too late. Jetblew is overpaying. And they’re looking at Robin to save them from the failure their current CEO put them in. They’re going to be disappointed when they see how long that JCBA really takes. They’ll be more upset when their seniority is stolen in the SLI.

And all for what? Some great JCBA they think will outmatch the legacies? Or their misguided belief that NK/JB are going to rule the aviation world? Lolz. Okay.

Does anybody have the new delivery schedule vs the old one?

btw that is a very JB move of them. Deferring deliveries(sorry smoothing) has been the JB MO for the last decade.

I don’t have the previous delivery schedule, but I doubt Airbus could have met that schedule anyways…. I find it interesting that we up-gauged all of our planned 319 neos for 321 neos…. More future minty planes??? 🤔

When it was 50 NH/month it was 10 CA upgrades. Now that it's 114 NH/month, still 10 CA upgrades. No talks of getting planes from elsewhere either

The fleet plan shows 11 net aircraft for all of 2024. Factor in they are stating we will have more aircraft (AOG) without engines next year vs this year, you're looking at flat growth for next year. The company does not want more planes, they want to slow deliveries and admitted today they should have slowed deliveries through the pandemic. The entire time in 2020-2022 it was "planes are coming, we are continuing to grow," and now they admit that was a bad move.

Pratt is supposedly going to reimburse Spirit for the downtime of the NEO planes. I would venture a guess Ted would rather keep those planes parked if they are getting a check from Pratt down the road vs flying them at a loss in Q3.

The Q2 call said 7 currently parked. There will be 7 more by end of September and more to come in 2024.
