Especially since it seems he has applied and has NOT been offered an interview by DAL, UAL and AA. Guy is weird. Read his previous posts, he struts with 5000 TT, crapping on 121 experience compared to his 91/135, like 5000TT is anything significant for most on here. Now he is the forum stage of just yelling at everyone.

All of your comments have been extremely hard to read without wanting to puke, agree with what Mayo said looking back at your post history. That being said there are plenty of folks at NK who enjoy their QOL enough to want to stay as opposed to leaving for a legacy. Can things be better, higher rates? Most definitely. But in my experience people here enjoy it. We have a good time flying with each other, and we enjoy the majority of our month at home with the family.

As far as identify as a pilot, I don’t identify as anything, I am a aviator, I eat sleep and breath flying, which is one of the reasons despite my thousands and thousands of hours I’ve stayed away from 121, compared to other areas in the industry it’s not really as much about real flying as 121 seems to be more about cosplay and purse swinging, if I could have the same pay and retirement flying floats I would in a heart beat, alas 121 does pay the best with a good retirement, so that’s why I am here

Also if you’re strapped into a 9K or DAL you are a civilian chief

Not sure how 121 pilots are, but me and the folks I hang around with, when we go to work we go to do work, if it’s safe legal and prudent we launch 100% And we don’t even have to cosplay military to do it lol
Sounds like SWA is the right place for you based on this post.

The lack of give a sh*t in the cockpit made NK the easiest job I ever had. The problem was when you needed a gate agent or dispatch, scheduling, management to give a sh*t, they wouldnt either. The new airline isn’t perfect but at least I know when I get to the plane I’ll have a release to look at.

Something to keep in mind. This is one of the only career fields where you will hopefully spend 30+ years at one company. You need that company to still exist in 30+ years.
Ask yourself which company is more likely to still be in business the day your retire.

Haven’t the majority needed to be bailed out by the tax payer?

Seems like larger 121s don’t go out of business as much as they just get folded into another one these days

Haven’t applied that long ago, and not having 121 is a factor

However I’d happily put my 5k up against 15k of sitting in cruise on a 121

Not yelling at anyone, I asked a pretty basic question about spirit vs the legacies and some of you ladies started purse swinging

Extremely hard to read? I didn’t even think I used any 10 cent words

Back to the point, so you’re saying the time off at spirit is better compared to the legacies? What’s the average upgrade time these days?

I’m glad you think so highly of your experience. Unfortunately for you, your future employers seemingly don’t.
