curious Why do you guys think today is going to be a “blood bath” went on the last system bid we recalled 12 furloughed pilots already??

usually, when there’s gonna be another bloodbath, they give us some kind of heads up. they haven’t given us an update recently, so I have no reason to believe that today is gonna be atrocious. A minor swing in either direction at best.

let me be the troll, not yall.

Ted likes to use the PW excuse as a shiny object to distract from the real fact that the product isn’t making money. But for him, he continues to blame PW, weather and ATC.
It shouldn't matter to P&W whether Spirit is unprofitable... Its still lost revenue! The idea that P&W is somehow shafting Spirit because, they would lose more money if the AOG's werent On the Ground, is ridiculous.

Don't spread these type of BS rumors. Why would they furlough more if they recently brought some back. And where is this vacancy bid that was supposed to come out today?

They didn’t bring any back. They canceled some per the furlough MOU based on the stipulation of that agreement for furloughs sept 1. That’s come and gone. A lot has changed and they can do what ever they need to on any bids going forward.

Your assessment is not rooted in fact or reality. . You think Pratt just writes a blank check to Spirit based on the number of seats and the price of a ticket? Sorry, no.

Spend a few minutes and look at the PW payments for this last quarter and the AOGs and last flight hours and tell me if PW is using your formula. In fact, they aren’t even writing Spirit a check for the AOGs. The overwhelming majority of the agreed on damages are being used as a credit for Spirit to use for maintenance and parts for Pratt. Yes, Spirit got food poisoning from Denny’s but instead of getting a refund and money for the hospital bill, they got coupons for more Denny’s.
