I can guarantee Frankie is rolling in cash. It's a publically traded company. Hiding revenue would be illegal. 70 million is not that much though. and they have not lost over 3 billion over the last 4 years like spirit.... |

You really are a piece of work. The company was and is HEMORRHAGING CASH while you got a large raise. You complain it wasn't big enough while the MEC was telling you then that company was HEMORRHAGING CASH and you call that brainwashing. Can't make this sh!t up.

We do not control the market when it comes to average labor costs. The cost of labor is the cost of labor. The company's inability to make money is their problem NOT MINE. Doesn't seem to stop them from giving themselves bonuses. Do they get a discount on fuel and gate slots because they aren't making money? The answer is no in case you are wondering.

I was not a CA rep, so you got the wrong guy. Secondly, the company couldn’t afford the contract you already got, and wasn’t willing to give us more. The MEC was pretty clear about that. That deal had to get done quick because JCBA negotiations were going to be right around the corner and then it would’ve been JetBlue’s problem. That contract had to get done quick because it would’ve handicapped us if we went into JCBA negotiations on Contract ‘18 rates. Obviously that all didn’t work out as planned and the current state of the company’s finances means you’re not seeing another CBA anytime soon, if ever. Is that the MEC’s fault too?

Yes because they sold us garbage wrapped in certainty and it backfired on them big time. "We have to get this done for JCBA negotiations!". JCBA negotiations never happened... "If the merger fails, we will go right back into section 6!" Well the merger failed and we will never see a new contract outside of a merger this decade. The entire MEC came off like idiots and rightfully so. You never sell a sure thing or "next time". Because "next time" came around and it wasn't so good. I would love to see them try their used car salesman tactics at a legacy because they would get laughed right out of the room.

I stopped at the first sentence. It was NEVER wrapped in certainty, and they made that VERY clear during the roadshows. Nice revisionist history. The DOJ lawsuit was happening and nobody knew how that was going to shake out, but they had to proceed as if the merger was happening. Yes, if it failed we go right back to section 6, but NOBODY including yourself knew at the time the financial situation of Spirit wasn't going to turn around. So give it a rest already.

Exactly, they sold certainty and it bit them. Give it a rest? Why? There are those on the whatsapp chats still calling for an MEC recall. YOU however don't even work here anymore so you sir can give it a rest and **** off to the threads of the airline you actually work at.

I'm really hoping to stay at Spirit as a captain. My wife will leave me if I get displaced to first officer.

70 million is not that much though. and they have not lost over 3 billion over the last 4 years like spirit.... well they made 15-20% on the leases.. which is not reportable. They aren’t hiding revenue they are purposefully losing money to make money. |

Because at that time, that’s what we asked for and got. JetBlue hadn’t agreed to their contract yet…..And looking back you actually think we would have gotten more? They financed the increase by taking a loan off the back of their credit card!
ok… before the extension rate… 35 below b6 and some change. Still embarrassing and keep believing what alpa sold you. You guys forgot when fornano said “thank you for a cost neutral contract”. Anyways , that’s the past and glad I don’t have to worry about future concessions . |

Hopefully not, but still I don't think I would say that in this industry. The airline world is a bizarre place sometimes. Glad you were able to move on to something better though. |
