Oh don't forget those E175 flying PDX-MSP or DFW-PDX. While Delta and American are using Mainline pilots and airplanes to operate those routes.

Glass houses guys. Our scope is incredibly weak. We could easily have a ton of flying outsourced via codesharing.

You roll your eyes, however at least my brothers and sisters at SPA ALPA went on strike during a pretty horrendous time in the industry. Our overall compensation is low but we are negotiating. What have YOU DONE to better the profession? I'm almost willing to bet you voted no to ALPA.

The point was if someone is going to come on here and lecture us, you would think it would be from someone who has a stellar contract, like a FedEx or Delta guy, not a retired Alaska pilot.

Not all of our compensation is low, I did pretty well last year with our "crappy" contract.

Edit*. Flame Suit on, waiting for the hate.

That's my point. ShyGuy assumes he knows what's in our contract or how we get compensated because he reads an hourly rate of APC.

We absolutely need our compensation to come up but to have someone from VA roll their eyes at our contract ****es me off.
