#10,800 just got upgrade over there and hes actually been there almost 2 years next month.. so its actually about 4yrs, but ill even add on a year... lets say 5yrs. The point was that new hires now at Spirit will be starring at a 4-5yr upgrade unless a big announcement of new orders will be made.(which I think will happen) So, its going to be the same or pretty close to the same upgrade times at both places for new hires today...

I don't think anyone hired At spirit today will upgrade In 5 years. I also don't think one should have to upgrade to make money as a professional airline pilot at a multi billion dollar company.

PS. There really isn't a decision, Delta beats Spirit in pretty much every single metric, but if one doesn't have an offer at Delta it really doesn't matter. I don't think their is an RJ CA in the world who makes more than our Junior CAs (and our junior CA rates are horrendous), so yes passing on Spirit to remain at a regional with the hopes Delta calls IMO Is not wise

hopefully we get a TA soon

Umm, yeah, you can. As of right now most junior CA at Delta is a NYC 717 guy at ~10,8xx and guy has been there 2 years-ish.

Correction to above, it's actually 5 years, but there's a 4-year jump in no hiring from the 2010 cycle to the 2014 cycle. 10,8xx is junior CA but the 11,100-ish is the first 2014 hire. Still, it's pretty much almost right there .
