Of course they did...they're trying to be Spirit. And in 5 yrs or less they'll probably be Spirit. ;)

For a new hire, how challenging would it be to be a MSP'er commuting to ORD or DTW? Any thoughts?

I heard msp-ord is not that bad. Especially lots of flights to and from. mSp-dtw is a delta and dci hub. I believe that commute could end being a monster commute.

If you take the first 2 flights and most of the time, the last 2-3 flights from MSP-DTW you should be good.

The last ORD to MSP flight on AA, half the plane is usually MSP commuters.

Can someone pm me interview gouge info. Looked online at the normal places. Just looking for something current. Anything will help, thank you in advance.

Despite the contract negotiations and faltering stock prices, I'm still anxiously awaiting a phone call from Miramar. Short term news often overshadows long term potential, and I think Spirit is in a great position to not only weather any economic storms, but actually be able to expand regardless of them. It seems that the pilot culture at Spirit is exactly what I am looking for: go to work, work hard, safe and professional, then go home and rest hard.

My quick questions:
News on the hiring process?
Anyone from the DEN job fair get a call and/or interview?

For those that have interviewed recently:
What are the date ranges of class dates being offered?

Does anyone have any suggestions regarding how to get my file to the top of the pile?

Thanks in advance for any input/suggestions!

The hiring process is still going strong. The economic situation in regards to the stock price is irrelevant to the growth of the airline. Same with the contract.

In fact, we've ramped up hiring, mainly due to a move up in aircraft deliveries.

Patience is the only thing I can say. Once the ball starts rolling though, it rolls fast. This isn't an "interview and wait six months for an answer and then another 8-10 months for a class" situation. Once the call comes for an interview, things happen fast.
