So now that I'm current again in the 121 world, I applied again with updated times. Got sent the personality test, but when I entered my "number" it said I've already taken it (which I have). So anyone out there who reapplied have the same thing happen to them? If so, am I missing something... I tried to look in past post to see what the word is, but couldnt find much.
Any help would be awesome. Thank you

It's remotely possible that you could try to call and explain what a horrible mistake you made. If they believe you that it's because of your concern over 121 currency and not the contract, then maybe...

Or, go to a job fair and hash it out with a chief pilot there. I think they still have the ability to make decisions on the spot that could get you back into the interview queue, but you're going to have to come across as penitent, honest, a good person to spend a long trip with, and NOT some guy looking for some 320 time to sweeten up your delta application.

After submitting my application, I received a TBNT email the other day. It didn’t indicate how long I need to wait to reapply-does that mean I’m not eligible?

After submitting my application, I received a TBNT email about a week later. The email didn’t specify how long I needed to wait to reapply-anyone know? Am I’m still eligible to reapply? Thanks!

Did you submit your application in triplicate?

They probably figure you're a risk of doing a touch and go to a legacy/fedex/UPS/SWA. It's probably nothing specifically personal, but they really hate being a revolving door for mil pilots. I was sort of one of those guys, except I really did give spirit a chance. The company mgt blew it by taking the pilot group to court over a massive lie and dragging their feet on the contract long enough that other interviews started rolling in so I don't feel bad about jumping ship, but... In my opinion anyone applying to spirit now ought to seriously consider it as a long term job instead of just a free type rating. Yea that's just my opinion.

Also my opinion - If you really want to fly for spirit for the rest of your career you'll probably have to corner a chief pilot and convince them in person. If spirit isn't your final destination, you really might be better off getting a quick offer from skywest. At least they don't get grumpy when you quit after 6-9 months 'cause they know it's coming and they'll happily hire you anyhow.

Thank you . . I'll try to get to one of the Job Fairs and chat with them. (Face palm to me)

I’m guessing that they view you as over qualified. I’m speculating that they see you as ripe to move to Delta or one of the other legacies after you enhance your resume with an Airbus type rating at their (Spirit) expense. Not saying you will do that. Like I said it’s my guess.

If you go to a job fair you will have to convince them that Spirit is your final stop and you have no intentions of going elsewhere. Good luck!

Oops! Just read flensr post.

Wish they would have let me explain that via an interview, but hopefully I can get some facetime at a job fair. Thanks for the help!

1 Could not agree more!
Congratulations, where did you go to?
Seniority is the main/only attraction at NK...

2 Non issue.
