Just tell us please that your asking for current (soon to be old) united rates. Tell us if you're asking for a DC and a 401k match north of 12%.
Or should they burn 3 more years of our time only to find they started with JB rates and a 10% 401k match.

Assuming the data reflected in the survey was accurate. It is my hope they (NC) are putting together a comprehensive offer based on the wants of the pilot group and are starting there. I just don't think specific numbers should be posted on Internet forums because that tells the management lurkers what some of us are willing to accept in an agreement.

Only difference I see is JBlue, Spirit, SWA and VA have never been in Bankruptcy :)

Every Airbus operator in this country is our peer. Every single one is negotiating except for Frontier who is on a bankruptcy contract, and Ual and AA that both have 3 years left on their contracts. Those are the only current benchmarks available.

So, peer comparison is based solely on airframe? What about size, multiple aircraft types including heavies, route structure, number of flights, finances and the effect on the national and/or global transportation system? And the biggie, previous contracts prior to concessions. I think that your view may be a little simplistic. Please don't take this as a personal insult. I'm only trying to maintain a discussion.

I believe the NC and the company had already agreed upon who our peers are before negotiations started. I'm pretty sure the legacies are on that list.

We fly the same equipment in the same environment with more seats and orchestrate the operation at every f'n station... We should be paid more! Have some self worth. Who cares what crap they serve in the cabin? It doesn't matter

Gotta pay your dues sonny

What? Year 1 at DL is $192 and $209 at 12. You mean we gotta pay our dues at Spirit then go to DL?

Or we expect a very steep slope here? Probably this is what the NC thinks. Crap.

PlaneRamrod does not approve of such a minimal slope :)

Let me put on my "Circa 2008 Blinders" here... Ah. There we go.

*ahem*

"Everyone knows those 3 year Delta rates are phantom rates. It takes 12 years to upgrade at Delta, so everything less than 12 years is purely academic."

Blinders off.

They were going to ask us to put those blinders on last fall with their "roadshow" events which never materialized thank goodness.

Scares me that they were in that mindset that recently when all signs were already there that upgrades were coming way down at the legacies

Un fooking our pay scale is going to be a colossal pain in the *** and it means smaller raises for the senior guys. Shouldn't have gone this route in the first place but here we are and I will not vote in favor of a slopey scale. Period.
