Continue as planned, based on which plan?
Since my short time here, their plans have changed literally DAILY. We've been getting updates directly from senior management and the training department as they develop, and it's been constantly changing.
Last week we were told they're hiring at 20 per month, now they say instead they're planning 8 per month. People from upcoming classes have said that some of them have been pushed back to later class dates. Routes have been cut and flying reduced due to the current events.
I feel at this rate, there will probably be several more changes before the dust settles. We shall see...

My apologies. I was mistaken about the hiring. Word now is hiring will continue, although since there isn't as much pressure the class sizes will be paired back a skosh to ease the load on the training department. "As planned" has been purported to be 150 for 2020 or about 12 per month. I think class sizes of 10-12 would be a reasonable expectation based on what we have been told over the last few months. Of course, things are changing hour by hour with the pandemic so who knows if tomorrow will be a whole different story.

Latest memo from management indicates they're still planning on hiring, but numbers down slightly to 12 in April, and 6 in May.
Of course, this was discussed right before March Madness was canceled (supposedly around 25% of our revenue this time of year), so who knows what impact that will have, if any.

I think it’s a fluid situation. Maybe we were hiring 2days ago but I’m guessing that may change. I’m assuming email will come out today updating the operation after NCAA charter flying is toast. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Laughlin casino charter flying gets grounded soon (usually an older crowd on those flights).
Next to be scaled after the above will be more scheduled capacity I’m assuming??
i think we got the pilots to do some scheduled flying and the 10 Amazon birds when they show up.

Yeah I haven’t seen anything official but I heard the check airman got an email on Friday saying April and May classes are cancelled along scrapping the plan to use sim time in Phoenix.
I think they were planning to finish up those currently in training as of last week but it’s a fluid situation and by Monday or Tuesday they may be announcing plans to furlough and park airplanes. Stay tuned
